As a graduate of Baltimore’s Towson University Film School, I discovered my passion for motion design almost immediately.  Developing my creative style evolved into many disciplines.  First, studying still photography and light, and then rapidly progressing to motion with experimentation in video and film.  A natural curiosity about the effects of light, sound and motion has led me into an active exploration of this medium and its limitless possibilities.

I have been employed in this industry for over a decade, freelancing and working full time for Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, Producers Video, University of Maryland and various other agencies and production companies.  My energy has been focused on editing, motion design work, videography, producing, writing and other production related disciplines.  This has served to broaden my understanding of the entire production process.  These experiences have resulted in a preference for live action elements heavily composited into cg environments.

In 2006 I left editing to pursue fulltime motion design work.  While working at Producers Video in Baltimore I expanded my skill set to compositing, photo-real CG work and match moving.  Clients include Under Armour, Dicks Sporting Goods, The Baltimore Ravens, Inside LaCrosse Magazine and Central Atlantic Toyota to name a few.

In an effort to improve my quality of life and explore my other creative persuit, "the non-moving image," I decided to break out on my own. In December 2012, I began freelancing full time and thankfully, business was good. So good in fact, I am now a Partner, Director of Operations and a contributing designer at Revel Motion Design, LLC. I can't thank all the wonderful people and clients enough for their support throughout the years as we grew. I hope to continue on this path as it has brought me so much satisfaction and fulfillment.  Please take a moment to view some of my work from the past here or visit revelmotion.tv to see what we've been up to lately. We would love to work with you.

All the best!
Chris
